Where does the work run?Paper tools and Clip Lab do the heavy work in your browser tab (PDF tools, pack export, captions). We host the page and take payment for a pass — we are not asking you to upload your life story into a cloud editor account to get a day of use.
Is it “totally private”?Be straight: the site is served over the internet, checkout goes to the payment provider, and if you paste a public YouTube link the file has to be fetched. If you use the Connector, your chat key and prompts go to the AI provider you chose. Your pass is for finished jobs, not for a privacy religion.
What machines does it work on?Any modern browser for paper and resume work. Clip Lab is built for desktop Chrome/Edge/Firefox with enough power to map video and export packs — it uses the cores your browser reports (not a fixed “one core” path). Phones can browse; serious pack export is a desktop job.
Why is there no signup?You buy a timed pass when you need the deep work. No account wall for the pitch. Pass is the relationship for finished exports.
